Restaurateur Dan Sherley has been feeding the hungry gourmands of Wollongong since opening his flagship venue Rookie some years ago (another brand by Beans). When a new location became available, Chef Sherley decided it was time to realise a long-standing food dream – a French steakhouse.
Just like that Débutant was born. A blank canvas and a loose brief saw the jazzed up, filmic and eternally French brand that now captures attention for the many, many passers-by on Keira street. Inside and out, digital and analogue channels were faithfully executed with the bold branding and the effort was rewarded with waves of new bookings.
